Fundamentals of Corporate Credit Analysis

Blaise Ganguin, John Bilardello, McGraw Hill, (2004)

Blaise and John set out to write this book because curiously, little had been published on how to analyze the credit risks of corporates, despite the thousands of credit analysts and managers doing just that everywhere.

Since then, the book has sold tens of thousands of copies, has been translated into Mandarin and is a recommended read at some of the world’s top business schools. Although it was written 15 years ago, the proposed analytical framework remains fully relevant today. Covering country, business and financial risks, the book also recommends an approach to forecasting, evaluating debt issues and recoveries.

SwissThink courses covering Corporate credit analysis topics are largely inspired by this timeless framework.
